Busy, Busy… Busy?
JWT – A premier advertising firm located in the heart of knightsbridge.
Talking to 2 other work experience students in the lobby we discussed the strange feeling we got getting of the Tube at Knightsbridge and what the people around us must think we do!? Then we all remembered that one of the perks of working in advertising was the relaxed attention towards attire and collectively decided that we would have been labelled tourists.
I was set to spend my week with an Account Director called Louise Lomax. She worked for a small concession of JWT called JWT Inside which focussed on corporate recruitment strategy and advertising. She had preempted my arrival and had scheduled a packed week for me. She also indicated to me that she was going to be using me as a guinea pig on some of their current campaigns. It was easy to see the difference between Creative at Ogilvy and Client Servicing at JWT. The direct client interaction made the atmosphere a lot more perky – an environment I’m definitely more suited to, however I was yet to discover which environment I prefered?
